Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial management on major projects in Ireland. You will own contractual matters, manage procurement, and drive financial forecasting, cash flow, and final accounts to maximise project returns.

You will mentor junior commercial staff, ensure contract compliance, and report to senior management on risks and opportunities within complex design and build environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Training in commercial management, dispute resolution and contract law.
• Experience with design and build contracts and high‑value projects.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the commercial strategy for the project.
• Represent the company in commercial and contractual matters.
• Lead procurement activities including tenders and subcontract management.
• Prepare and present financial forecasts, cash flow and valuations.
• Manage and agree variations with records.
• Produce and agree final accounts.
• Maintain cost control across NEC/JCT contracts.
