A main civils contractor with divisions in plant hire, civils, rail, and demolition & construction is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team headquartered in North Dublin, Ireland. The company is looking to add a Senior QS to support growth across ongoing projects on the island of Ireland.

Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our surveying department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior QS to take a leading role within a growing company that will encourage development and progression within the role.

Responsibilities
  • Estimating & Cost Planning
  • Prepare and manage all contract documents, bill of materials and budget
  • Evaluate all costings associated with the project, including materials costs, supplier costs, sub-contractor costs and equipment costs
  • Cost and contract terms and conditions negotiations
  • Cost control throughout each project
  • Risk analysis and cash flow projections
  • Liaise in-house with the assigned project manager and externally with clients, consultants, sub-contractors and suppliers
  • Final account preparations and settlement
  • Capable of working on your own and within a team
  • Managing a small team of Junior QS
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
  • 10 years experience as a Senior QS
  • Proven track record in delivering projects within budget from tender stage to final account
