Job summary

St. Vincent’s University Hospital invites applications for the temporary Grade VIII Quality and Accreditation Manager within the Quality and Patient Safety Department. The role leads the Quality Management function, coordinates KPI reporting, and supports JCI accreditation efforts across SVUH.

The successful candidate will drive quality improvement initiatives, manage the QPS team, and oversee data systems such as Q-Pulse and Datix, ensuring compliant and high-standard patient safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience leading quality improvement in healthcare organisations.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission International accreditation processes.
• Ability to coordinate data collection and analysis for KPIs.
• Experience with document management and policy development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Management function within the QPS Department.
• Coordinate collection of information linked to objectives and KPIs.
• Assist in reports for the Director of Quality/CEO as requested.
• Support implementation of external survey recommendations.
• Lead the Quality Improvement and Accreditation Team.
• Support Q-Pulse and Datix quality systems.
• Deputise for the Director when required.
