Job summary

Life Science Consultants seeks a Senior QC Microbiology specialist for a contract role with a South Dublin biopharmaceutical company focusing on Formulation, Fill Finish and Packaging. The candidate should have 3+ years in QC Microbiology within pharma/biotech.

You will perform Environmental Monitoring in Grade 5/7 and 8/9 cleanrooms, support aseptic manufacturing, conduct bioburd en testing, and prepare trend reports while adhering to cGMP and Data Integrity on a 24/7 shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Science discipline with Biopharmaceutical QC Microbiology laboratory experience.
• Strong Environmental Monitoring and aseptic cleanroom expertise, with knowledge of cGMP and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with LIMS/LMES preferred; TrackWise, SAP or CDOCS advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform Environmental Monitoring within Grade 5/7 and Grade 8/9 cleanrooms, including RABS and isolators.
• Carry out environmental monitoring plate reading and support aseptic manufacturing operations.
• Perform bioburden testing of water and disinfectants, water sampling and testing of in-process samples.
• Perform testing of Biological Indicators in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepare technical documentation including monthly and annual Environmental Monitoring trend reports.

ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?

Bachelor's degree in a Science discipline with previous Biopharmaceutical QC Microbiology laboratory experience. Strong experience in Environmental Monitoring and aseptic cleanroom environments, with a good understanding of cGMP and regulatory compliance. Experience with LIMS/LMES is preferred, with knowledge of systems such as TrackWise, SAP and CDOCS considered an advantage.
