Job summary

IT Search, on behalf of an Irish technology company, seeks a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join a high-calibre engineering team. This SDET-style role emphasizes embedding quality throughout the software development lifecycle rather than a final delivery gate.

You will design and maintain automation frameworks, perform API, performance, and load testing with JMeter, and work closely with engineers in a distributed, event-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Strong automation testing experience with Python preferred (Java also considered).
• Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Strong API testing experience.
• Performance and load testing using JMeter.
• Experience working with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQL/MySQL and Linux/Unix environments.
• Ability to work closely with software engineers to drive quality across the development lifecycle.
