Job summary

Cpl Group, a leading financial services partner in Ireland, seeks an experienced Data Warehouse Developer with strong Python skills to modernise an SQL Server warehouse to a cloud Lakehouse. You will influence technical direction, manage migrations and partner with stakeholders in an Agile environment.

In this senior role, you will design data pipelines, optimize ETL/ELT, and ensure governance, security and reliability across platforms such as Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data warehouse and SQL Server development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
• Advanced T-SQL and Python programming.
• Experience delivering Lakehouse, cloud migration or modernization projects.
• ETL/ELT, data modelling and performance tuning skills.
• Experience supporting production systems.
• CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently.
• Desirable: financial services background, Azure Data Factory, Power BI, cloud certs.

Responsibilities
