Job summary

Mars Capital in Dublin is seeking a senior AWS/Python developer to design, build, and maintain scalable contact center solutions using AWS Connect. The role requires 5+ years in AWS and Python, with hands-on experience in Lambda, API Gateway, and serverless architectures.

You will integrate AWS Connect with AWS services, implement CI/CD pipelines, and ensure secure, scalable delivery while collaborating with cross‑functional teams and continuously improving the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud services and Python development.
• Proven experience with AWS Connect and related services.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, CI/CD, and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable contact center solutions using AWS Connect.
• Integrate AWS Connect with Lambda, DynamoDB, S3 and other services for seamless operations.
• Develop and deploy serverless applications and APIs using Lambda and Python.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment and updates.
• Monitor performance, reliability, and availability; address issues proactively.
• Conduct root cause analysis and apply fixes and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and ensure smooth implementation.
• Write clean, well‑documented code following industry standards; stay updated with AWS best practices.
