Job summary

Genesys is hiring a Senior Engineer to design, build, and productionize ML systems for conversational AI. You will work across the stack with researchers, engineers and product teams to ship reliable AI solutions at enterprise scale.

The role focuses on building agentic AI, maintaining scalable pipelines, and collaborating to translate prototypes into robust, secure production systems. Onsite in Galway two to three days per week.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software/ML experience.
• Strong Python programming experience; Java a plus.
• Cloud services experience (AWS or equivalent).
• Proven ability to build/operate APIs and microservices at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain agentic AI systems for conversational interfaces.
• Build scalable ML pipelines for real-time and async interactions.
• Develop and integrate LLM-powered agents for multi-turn reasoning and task execution.
• Productionize models and services: APIs, microservices, observability, reliability.
• Collaborate with research and product to turn prototypes into robust solutions.
• Implement performance, scalability, and security best practices.
