Job summary

Lead Group Ireland in Limerick is seeking a Senior Planner / Scheduler to develop and maintain detailed project schedules for a major capital project. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers and contractors to ensure accurate timelines in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a relevant degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience on large capital projects, with strong Primavera P6 skills and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working on large capital projects.
• Strong background in Primavera P6 or other scheduling software is essential.
• Experience in mechanical or process-driven industries is preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning software.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate project timelines.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential schedule delays or conflicts.
• Analyse data and prepare reports to support decision-making and project planning.
• Assist in resource planning and allocation across various project phases.
