Job summary

Kirby Group Engineering is seeking a Senior Project Planner to support multi-disciplinary, multi-sector project delivery, facilitating planning, scheduling and control processes. You will provide advice, clear communication of fact-based answers to management questions and escalate issues to improve decision making.

The role involves developing construction schedules, tracking progress, negotiating with main contractors, and mentoring junior planners within a vibrant, agile team.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Quantity Surveying or strong trades background.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality service to the project manager and develop schedules for bid support.
• Review contract documentation concerning schedule and reporting requirements.
• Develop fully integrated construction schedules with main contractor and project manager.
• Monitor progress and prepare weekly progress and efficiency reporting.
• Lead planning meetings and risk identification/mitigation.
