Job summary

Ward Personnel seeks an experienced Project/Contracts Manager for a 15-month commercial building project in Co. Wexford.

The role includes delivering a five-storey concrete frame, adding a 22-bed extension, and expanding a function room, reception and restaurant/bar, with on-site teams and tight timelines. You will ensure compliance with building regulations, drive project methodologies, manage the supply chain, and lead progress meetings with clients and suppliers to secure delivery within

Qualifications

• Degree or higher diploma in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience on large-scale building projects.
• Strong knowledge of building regulations and certification standards.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; team player.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site construction teams for successful delivery.
• Oversee Health and Safety aspects of the project.
• Coordinate onsite supply chain for timely delivery.
• Manage project programmes and monitor progress on site.
• Hold regular onsite progress meetings with team and suppliers.
• Contribute to construction methodology and project management plans.
• Ensure compliance with management, quality and environmental systems.
• Represent the company at project meetings and manage client expectations.
