POSITION SUMMARY

Due to the continued expansion of our company, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to join our team of Project Managers with an immediate start. Reporting directly to the Company Directors, you will assume commercial and program control of key projects, involving liaison with customers, sub-contractors, and other business units to ensure successful project delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage key electrical projects from inception, specification, design review, costing, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover to the client.
2. Supervise weekly the electrical project/technical team from design and production timelines through to project completion and handover, identifying problem areas with a constructive and reactive approach to remedy.
3. Take overall responsibility for the project/technical team, labour control, and coordination.
4. Attend site/client meetings (where required) to ensure progress is monitored and maintained within the overall programme, including contractor management.
5. Process internal procurement, requisitioning, and monitor manufacture and delivery to site while maintaining a comprehensive audit trail.
6. Communicate and interface with project contractors to scope and deliver the desired product, project documentation, and correspondence.
7. Monitor and report on project progress, expenditure, and cost control within teams.
8. Be responsible for all financial and management aspects of the project.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in a similar role is essential.
• Ability to lead and mentor across a functional team environment.
• Commercially focused.
• Self-motivated with the ability to project-manage own workload to drive large-scale projects.
• Driving license required.
