Job summary

Real is seeking an experienced project leader to drive major OSD manufacturing initiatives in Ireland. You will own scope, budget, and schedule, manage contractors, and coordinate stakeholders to ensure installation, qualification, and GMP-compliant handover of new production capacity.

You will oversee site upgrades including cleanrooms, utilities, HVAC, warehousing, and packaging areas, aligning engineering, quality, validation, and operations to minimise disruption and ensure operational

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex construction projects in pharma/biopharma or GMP environments.
• Strong track record in managing scope, budget, schedule and contractors.
• Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, validation, operations).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of OSD manufacturing projects from initiation to handover.
• Oversee budget, schedule, contractor management and governance.
• Coordinate site-wide facilities upgrades (cleanrooms, utilities, HVAC, warehousing).
• Engage with stakeholders, EPCM partners and regulatory bodies to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Job description

Lead the end-to-end delivery of a major OSD manufacturing project, overseeing scope, budget, schedule, contractor management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure the successful installation and qualification of new production capacity while maintaining GMP compliance.

Manage a site-wide facilities and infrastructure upgrade programme, including cleanrooms, utilities, HVAC, warehousing, and packaging areas, coordinating engineering, quality, validation, and operations teams to minimise disruption to ongoing manufacturing activities.

Drive project governance across both programmes, including CAPEX management, risk mitigation, change control, resource planning, and reporting to senior leadership, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Build and maintain strong relationships with global and local stakeholders, EPCM partners, equipment vendors, regulatory bodies, and site leadership, supporting commissioning, qualification, and operational readiness for project handover to manufacturing teams.

Proven experience managing construction projects within pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or GMP-regulated manufacturing environments, including oversight of contractors, design reviews, site execution, commissioning activities, and delivery of projects through to operational handover.
