Senior Project Manager - Mayo
Overview

CREGG are currently hiring a Senior Project Manager to work in a large Manufacturing Company in Mayo. Reporting to the PMO you will work alongside a team of 11 project managers in the engineering department. The role will involve large scale engineering projects from across the plant.

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Management:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timeline.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.

Execution and Monitoring:

  • Lead project teams to achieve deliverables, ensuring practicality and efficiency.
  • Monitor and track the progress of projects.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Handle change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status and any issues.

Financial Oversight:

  • Develop project budgets and ensure that projects stay within financial constraints.
  • Conduct cost analysis and resource leveling.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a formal qualification in Project Management, or related field. PMP certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of proven working experience as a Project Manager in the relevant regulated industry - Pharma, Medical Device or Food/Beverage Industry field.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools (MS Project).
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Candidates must hold a valid working visa for Ireland.
