Senior Project Manager - Mayo
Overview
CREGG are currently hiring a Senior Project Manager to work in a large Manufacturing Company in Mayo. Reporting to the PMO you will work alongside a team of 11 project managers in the engineering department. The role will involve large scale engineering projects from across the plant.
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timeline.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
Execution and Monitoring:
- Lead project teams to achieve deliverables, ensuring practicality and efficiency.
- Monitor and track the progress of projects.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Handle change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
Stakeholder Management:
- Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure objectives are achieved.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status and any issues.
Financial Oversight:
- Develop project budgets and ensure that projects stay within financial constraints.
- Conduct cost analysis and resource leveling.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a formal qualification in Project Management, or related field. PMP certification is a plus.
- 5+ years of proven working experience as a Project Manager in the relevant regulated industry - Pharma, Medical Device or Food/Beverage Industry field.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools (MS Project).
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized with an eye for detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Candidates must hold a valid working visa for Ireland.
