DRA Consulting Engineers in Limerick seeks a Senior/Project Civil & Structural Engineer to deliver a range of civil and structural design projects across Ireland. You will manage projects, mentor junior staff and work with Directors and Chartered Engineers to advance your Chartered status.

Essential experience includes 4+ years in consulting, Revit/AutoCAD proficiency, and strong communication skills. The role offers mentorship, professional development and exposure to diverse projects.

Due to continued expansion, we're looking for a Senior / Project Civil & Structural Engineer to join our Limerick team and play a key role in the delivery of exciting projects across Ireland.

Working directly with Directors and Chartered Engineers, you'll gain hands-on experience across design, project management and client engagement while receiving dedicated mentorship to help you achieve Chartered Engineer status and / or career progression.

About the Role

As a Senior / Project Civil & Structural Engineer, you'll work on a wide range of residential, commercial, educational, conservation and infrastructure projects while developing both your technical and project management expertise.

Key responsibilities include:

• Civil and structural engineering design across a variety of projects
• Project management and coordination from concept through delivery
• Preparing engineering drawings using Revit and AutoCAD
• Using design software including Robot, Tedds and Causeway
• Collaborating with clients, architects, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams
• Managing project documentation and administration
• Supporting and mentoring graduate engineers and technicians
• Developing practical, efficient and innovative design solutions

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Honours Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
• 4+ years' experience in consulting engineering
• Strong knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles
• Experience using Revit and AutoCAD
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Chartered Engineer status or ambition to achieve Chartered Engineer status

Desirable

• Membership of Engineers Ireland or the Institution of Structural Engineers
• Experience with Robot, Tedds, Causeway or similar design software
• Project coordination or project management experience
• Previous experience mentoring junior engineers or technicians
