Crusoe Energy Systems LLC is seeking a seasoned Production Engineer to safeguard and improve the reliability of our AI infrastructure. You will monitor, automate, and instrument systems, collaborating with software engineers to implement resilient code and scalable designs.

A strong focus on incident analysis and continuous improvement will drive our mission. We value 5+ years in production engineering, 3+ years in system architecture, and hands-on scripting in Python or Go.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional production engineering experience.
• 3+ years contributing to architecture and design of systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or 8+ years relevant work experience.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure design and trade-offs.
• Experience writing code in Python, Go, or similar.
• Experience with Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience with TCP/IP and network programming.
• Experience with information security best practices.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review overnight alerts and system performance to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate in daily stand-up to discuss incidents and priorities.
• Automate routine processes and analyze logs.
• Develop tools to enhance monitoring and observability.
• Advise software engineers on resilient code and review changes.
• Participate in incident response drills, post-mortems and root cause analysis.
• Maintain high SLIs and SLOs and document work.
