Job summary

Crusoe Energy Systems LLC is seeking a Production Engineer to ensure reliability and performance of our infrastructure. You will work on capacity planning, troubleshooting, and site builds across data centers and PoPs, with a focus on network reliability and automation.

The role requires strong TCP/IP networking, Linux, and experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Ansible, and IaC tooling. You will collaborate with Engineering to drive resilience and continuous improvement in Crusoe's energy-first AI

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience with network protocols (BGP, MPLS, L3VPN).
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, and Layer 2/3 networking.
Experience with Unix/Linux environments and data-center networks.

Responsibilities

Perform capacity planning with Engineering and Product teams for data centers and PoPs.
Provide Tier 1 troubleshooting for network hardware and routing issues.
Manage site builds, DNS mapping, connectivity verification, and automation scripts.
Oversee hardware failures and RMA processes.
Troubleshoot optical network issues using OTDR tests.
Collaborate on data center cabling, fabric uplifts, and large-scale expansions.
Drive process improvements and network optimization initiatives.
Contribute to evaluating and adopting new networking technologies.
