Job summary

MCS Group supports a growing technology company seeking an experienced Product Owner to join its product team on a permanent, fully remote basis. The role focuses on owning products from discovery through to launch, with a strong emphasis on solving problems for patients, clinicians and operations teams.

You will translate customer needs into PRDs, Epics and user stories, manage backlogs, collaborate with design and engineering, and continuously improve healthcare software to enhance service

Qualifications

• At least five years' experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
• Experience delivering customer-facing software in a multi-product environment.
• Experience with products connecting digital interfaces to real-world services.
• Strong technical understanding and collaboration with software development teams.
• Degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Design, Healthcare Management or related field.

MCS Group is proud to be supporting a growing technology company in hiring an experienced Product Owner to join its product team.

This role would suit someone with a strong technical understanding who enjoys solving problems, working with customers and engineering teams, and taking ownership of products from discovery through to launch.

You'll work across multiple products supporting patients, clinicians and operational teams. The focus is on understanding how healthcare services work in practice and translating those needs into software that improves the experience for everyone involved.

(Permanent - Fully Remote)

What you'll be doing:

• Leading product discovery and mapping clinical and operational workflows
• Translating customer and business needs into clear PRDs, Epics, User Stories, acceptance criteria and prototypes
• Owning and prioritising product backlogs, balancing commercial priorities, compliance and engineering capacity
• Working closely with design, engineering and Clinical Operations to shape and deliver product improvements
• Understanding manual processes, offline dependencies and service delivery constraints
• Managing feature readiness, user acceptance testing, release planning and launch communication
• Using product data, customer feedback and operational metrics to identify improvements

What they're looking for:

• At least five years' experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager
• Experience delivering customer-facing software in a multi-product environment
• Experience with products that connect digital interfaces with real-world services, such as healthcare, pharmacy, logistics, retail or diagnostics
• Strong technical understanding and experience working closely with software development teamsA strong understanding of Agile delivery, backlog management and writing clear product requirements
• Knowledge of the healthcare business and an interest in improving clinician and patient experiences
• Strong communication skills, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders and manage competing priorities
• A degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Design, Healthcare Management or a related discipline

Nice to have:

• Direct experience in healthcare, pharmacy, telemedicine or another regulated environment
• Exposure to multi-tenant or multi-brand products
• Experience working with enterprise customers and leading customer requirements discussions
