Optum is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development and commercialization of a new Reseller Solutions product designed to help health plans and reseller organizations manage downstream client contracts, optimize pricing performance, improve reporting capabilities, and support emerging business models. This role will be responsible for validating the market opportunity, defining the product vision, establishing the roadmap, driving customer discovery, and leading delivery of a scalable solution that can evolve from a pilot initiative into a market-ready product offering. The successful candidate will work closely with Pricing, Technology, Operations, Design, Sales, and Client Management teams to deliver innovative solutions that address complex customer needs while supporting scalable growth. This is a highly strategic and entrepreneurial role that requires exceptional product leadership, commercial acumen, and execution excellence, combining deep product management expertise with experience in B2B SaaS platforms, pricing solutions, financial products, healthcare technology, or enterprise workflow automation. Primary Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, business model, and multi-year roadmap
• Develop and maintain a compelling value proposition aligned with customer needs and market opportunities
• Evaluate industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities and product innovations
• Align product investments with business objectives, customer outcomes, and revenue growth goals
• Support investment planning, funding requests, and executive business case development

Customer Discovery & Market Validation

• Lead customer discovery, market research, and validation activities to identify unmet needs and product-market fit
• Conduct workshops, interviews, and research with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders
• Translate customer insights into scalable product capabilities and differentiated market offerings
• Validate solution concepts, business assumptions, pricing strategies, and customer demand
• Analyze market opportunities and competitive dynamics to inform product direction and commercialization plans

Product Development Leadership

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from inception through launch and growth
• Own the product roadmap, backlog, and prioritization process
• Define MVP scope, release plans, and long-term product evolution
• Create business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Pricing, and Operations to deliver high-quality solutions
• Balance customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, and delivery timelines
• Ensure successful execution from concept through launch and ongoing product enhancement

Pricing & Margin Optimization Innovation

• Partner with pricing and financial teams to build innovative pricing capabilities
• Support the development and enhancement of margin optimization tools, scenario modelling, contract management workflows, pass-through pricing, guarantee management capabilities, and automated reporting and analytics solutions
• Ensure solutions support client-specific configurations while maintaining scalability

Commercialization & Growth

• Define and execute the product commercialization strategy, including positioning, packaging, pricing recommendations, and market entry approach
• Develop business cases, revenue models, ROI analyses, and value propositions that support customer adoption and business growth
• Partner with Sales, Client Management, Marketing, and Operations teams to develop go-to-market strategies and launch plans
• Establish product success metrics and monitor adoption, customer satisfaction, retention, revenue growth, and overall business performance
• Identify opportunities to expand the product across additional reseller organizations, customer segments, and market opportunities
• Lead initiatives to achieve product-market fit and continuously refine the offering based on customer feedback, usage data, and market insights
• Support sales enablement activities, including product messaging, client presentations, demonstrations, and customer engagement
• Drive the transition from pilot program to scalable commercial product, establishing a sustainable operating and growth model

Stakeholder Leadership

• Collaborate across Product, Technology, Pricing, Operations, Sales, Client Management, and Executive Leadership teams
• Influence strategic decisions through data, customer insights, and business analysis
• Communicate roadmap progress, risks, product performance, and commercialization outcomes to stakeholders
• Present recommendations, business cases, and product strategies to senior leadership
• Act as the primary product leader and advocate for the Reseller Solutions initiative

Required Qualifications

• Proven extensive experience in Product Management

• Proven experience building Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or platform-based products

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience within healthcare, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), insurance, benefits, or health plan environments
• Proven experience in pricing, financial analytics, or revenue management
• Proven experience in customer-facing product leadership roles
• Proven experience with self-service platforms and workflow automation solutions
• Proven experience working with large enterprise customers
