Medtronic is a global leader in healthcare technology seeking a Senior Released Product Engineer. You will be part of the Operations team in the Acute Care & Monitoring unit, driving product lifecycle management and sustaining production capabilities to meet business growth.

You will manage projects, update documentation, and drive continuous improvement and cost savings for the products you support. This role emphasizes collaboration across R&D, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or science field.
• 4+ years in sustaining/manufacturing engineering or similar.
• 3+ years of project management experience.
• 3+ years in a Multidisciplinary Project/Technical Engineering role.
• Medical Devices experience preferred.
• Experience with Change Development Process (CDP) or similar.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and explain complex ideas clearly.
• Fluent in English.

Mansioni

• Lead projects from initiation to completion per the Change Development Process (CDP).
• Collaborate with R&D, Component Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Operations and Marketing to execute projects per Medtronic processes.
• Manage BOM updates and maintain Design History Files and Technical File Documentation.

Our Purpose

As a Senior Released Product Engineer, you will be a member of the Operations team working within the Acute Care & Monitoring business unit. In this role, you will collaborate with other global cross-functional team members to provide product lifecycle management and ensure sustained production capabilities to meet the growing needs of our business. The Senior Product Engineer will also manage and support project activities, update and maintain documentation, and drive continuous improvement and cost savings efforts for the products they support.

A day in the life:

• Lead projects from initiation to completion according to the Change Development Process (CDP) and other applicable procedures ensuring projects are defined, created, planned and executed, following the process in terms of timeline, resources, budget, scope and risks
• Work with project core team members including R&D, Component Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Operations and Marketing to ensure projects and activities are executed according to Medtronic processes
• Manage Bill Of Material (BOM) updates and the maintenance of Design History Files and Technical File Documentation
• Work with our global contract manufacturing vendors to ensure product life cycle sustainability and evaluate capital equipment investment needs
• Work with supply chain and component engineering on logistic plans, End-of-Life (EOL) procedures and implementation of product changes including researching, verifying, and implementing the replacement of end-of-life components while sustaining current product design intents
• Work with the Service team on service plans, supporting user manual updates and other related field actions
• Work to maintain product performance and quality of existing products by leading and assisting with issues relating to CAPAs, customer complaints, and manufacturing processes and support PFMEA, testing, drawing updates, SCR's and Process Validation plans for released products

Key Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical \ Electrical \Bio-Medical \ Software \ Materials \ or Industrial Engineering or Science related field
• 4+ years of experience with a bachelors degree and 2 years of experience with an advanced degree with 3+ years of experience working in a sustaining and/or manufacturing engineering environment
• 3+ years of project management experience
• Experience:
• 3+ years direct experience in a Multidisciplinary Project/Technical Engineering role
• Medical Devices experience preferred
• Experience in Change Development Process (CDP) and/or analogous post commercialization change process
• Ability to work, influence and lead in a matrix environment
• Familiarity with FDA Quality Systems Regulations (QSR) preferred
• Ability to work with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English.
• Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical disciplines. Good team player.

Nice to Have:

• Experience and competence with Solid Works or other CAD Modeling program
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills in order to interact with, build and mature relationships with, and influence multi-disciplinary cross-functional resources
• Application of statistical and analytical methods
• Experience in development and sustaining of medical devices
• Quality System experience in Medical Devices

Pay range / Rango salarial / Intervalo salarial /Fascia retributiva / Tranche de salaire / Gehaltsband / Salaribereik: Ireland: 64,640.00 EUR- 96,960.00 EUR|The final salary within this range will be determined based on objective, job-related criteria, including relevant experience, skills and qualifications, in accordance with our compensation framework.

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
