Job summary

Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited is hiring a Senior Product Design Engineer to lead the design and development of electrical power distribution products for AWS data centers, from concept to implementation. You will collaborate with mechanical, reliability, QA/QC and compliance teams across regions to meet project goals.

We seek hands-on experience with LV switchgear, distribution cabinets or LV panels, and the ability to define equipment specifications, test plans, and supplier coordination

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Experience in data center design, construction, or operations.
• Knowledge of electrical power distribution equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead product design and development from concept to implementation.
• Define equipment specifications and evaluate design changes.
• Coordinate with mechanical, reliability, QA/QC and compliance teams.
• Collaborate with suppliers to specify electrical equipment and BOMs.
• Ensure compliance with codes across regions.
