Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Process Optimization and Assurance Associate to partner with leaders across Merchant Services, Client Onboarding and Servicing, and Control Management.

You will identify opportunities, analyze data, and drive change with executive-ready storytelling to deliver measurable improvements. You will support risk assessments, CCOR reviews, and governance of issues, actions, and remediation, while maintaining clear documentation and process maps that guide migration oversight

Qualifications

• Identify opportunities, analyze data and drive change across Merchant Services and Client Onboarding.
• Ensure control descriptions are complete and clear to support risk assessments.
• Support CCOR reviews, audits, and RFI responses with documented evidence.

Responsibilities

• Analyze key business processes to identify improvement opportunities and recommend automation to streamline control execution and reporting.
• Support evergreen process risk assessments by maintaining complete control capture and descriptions.
• Partner with Control Management to support CCOR reviews, audits, and walkthrough preparation.
• Support issue, action plan, and risk event governance by tracking milestones and driving closure.
• Drive QC/QA error reduction and remediation verification to ensure fixes are effective.
• Maintain stakeholder routines to provide visibility into control effectiveness and remediation progress.
• Develop and maintain process maps, workflows, and documentation; present clear recommendations to leadership.
• Optimize onboarding and servicing models with a client-centric, growth-oriented focus.
