Job summary

Hero Recruitment Group represents a leading medical device manufacturer seeking a Senior NPD Engineer in Galway. The role provides technical leadership across development programs, owning engineering execution from feasibility through manufacturing transfer.

You will be the primary technical interface with customers, lead design reviews, and drive verification, validation, and design transfer in a regulated ISO 13485/FDA environment, while mentoring engineers and technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Polymer Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years' medical device product development experience.
• Experience leading development projects within Design Control and regulated environments.
• Proven customer-facing experience with technical discussion and project leadership.
• Knowledge of ISO 13485 and FDA requirements.
