Purpose of role

We are seeking a highly skilled Presentation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in creating interactive and animated PowerPoint presentations that captivate and engage audiences. This role requires a creative individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality presentations. Proficiency in Excel and Outlook email templates is also essential, along with a desire to further develop skills in MS Office applications as well as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

The successful applicant will manage documents within time and quality parameters, handle customer queries related to these documents, and liaise regularly with the Creative Lead, Account Manager, or Workflow Coordinator to update on project status, deadlines, and issues to effectively meet client requirements.

  • Develop and design interactive PowerPoint presentations that communicate complex information effectively and engage the audience.
  • Incorporate multimedia elements such as animations, videos, and interactive features to enhance presentations.
  • Utilize Excel to create and manage data-driven content for presentations.
  • Design and implement Outlook email templates to improve communication efficiency.
  • Collaborate with departments to understand their presentation needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Ensure all presentations are visually appealing, engaging, and aligned with branding guidelines.
  • Follow departmental processes for presentation services.
  • Create and amend presentations/documents accurately and timely, adhering to corporate standards.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure work meets high standards and is delivered correctly the first time.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to manage operational needs and expectations.
  • Take ownership of work quality and deadlines.
  • Use Engage/DBS Hub for job-related duties accurately and effectively.
  • Estimate production times and liaise with managers to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Share knowledge and foster a supportive team environment.
  • Manage attendance and time proactively.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant H&S and FCA regulations.
  • Adhere to objectives, contractual obligations, SLAs, and KPIs.
  • Act professionally and consultatively with clients.
  • Provide comprehensive handovers for incoming staff.
  • Produce presentation materials accurately and on time.
  • Ensure all work is quality checked before delivery.
  • Follow department policies and procedures.
  • Report issues to relevant parties.

Required Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel; familiarity with graphics production is a plus.
  • Strong skills in creating complex charts and troubleshooting in Excel.
  • Experience working with PowerPoint master slides, themes, and templates.
  • Creative thinking for displaying information engagingly.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a 'right first time' approach.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a corporate environment.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Strong service orientation and commitment to excellence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Quick learner, adaptable to new skills.
  • Results-oriented with willingness to put in extra effort when needed.
