Job summary

Verde Search is seeking a qualified Practice Accountant to join its Central Dublin practice. You will handle audit, accounts preparation and advisory work for a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and SMEs.

The role offers visibility at senior level, flexible working arrangements, and promotion potential within a structured salary review process.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with minimum 1 year post-qualification experience.
• Background in practice, preferably Irish firm outside Top 10 with focus on accounts preparation.
• Solid working knowledge of FRS 102 and Irish GAAP.
• Client service oriented with ability to manage a varied workload and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Manage audit, accounts preparation and related advisory work for a client portfolio.
• Work closely with Partners and Directors to gain visibility and progression.
• Ensure high-quality client service and compliance with Irish accounting standards.

Practice Accountant Accounts & Advisory Central Dublin A well-regarded independent practice in Central Dublin is looking to add a qualified accountant to its team. The firm works with a broad SME client base across Greater Dublin and is known for the quality of its client relationships and the autonomy it gives its professional staff.

About the Role

This is a mixed accounts, audit and advisory position. You will manage your own client portfolio from day one, handling audit, accounts preparation and associated advisory work across a range of owner-managed businesses and SMEs. You will work closely with the firm's Partner and Director, giving you real visibility at senior level and a structured path for progression.

What We Are Looking For

• ACA or ACCA qualified, with a minimum of one year post-qualification experience
• A background in practice, ideally in an Irish firm outside the Top 10 with a focus on accounts preparation
• Solid working knowledge of FRS 102 and Irish GAAP
• Someone who takes pride in client service and can manage a varied workload with confidence
• Clear and professional communication skills
