Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. in Ireland is seeking a Senior NPI IC Product Engineer (R&D) to join our Power IC team in Limerick or Cork.

You will drive new product development, qualification, and release to mass production for advanced power ICs, coordinating with design, packaging, and testing to meet strict datasheet specs. The role requires 5+ years in NPI-IC product engineering, strong device physics knowledge, and hands-on lab experience with bench equipment and test platforms.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; MS a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in NPI-IC product engineering; MOSFET/digital controller a plus.
• Strong knowledge of packaging, device physics, reliability testing and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product development, qualification and release to mass production.
• Generate reliability and test plans, bench and reliability test hardware design.
• Ensure releases meet manufacturing and datasheet requirements.
• Collaborate with design, packaging, and marketing on specs and datasheets.
• Coordinate ATE to bench correlations and yield improvement.
• Support PCA and mass production handover to sustaining teams.
