Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. in Limerick, Ireland, is seeking a Senior NPI IC Product Engineer to join our Power IC team.

You will drive new product development, qualification, and release to mass production, coordinating with design, packaging and test to meet datasheet and manufacturing requirements. The ideal candidate has a BS in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in NPI-IC roles, and hands-on bench experience with test equipment and ATE to bench correlation.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent; masters a plus.
Minimum 5 years of experience in NPI-IC product engineering role.
MOSFET and Multiphase or digital controller experience a plus.
Strong knowledge of packaging, device physics, circuit theory and reliability testing.
Experience with ISO, AEC, JEDEC, DFMEA, DFT, DFM, DOE and statistics tools.
Experience with bench setup, reliability and testing of semiconductor devices.
Proficiency with I2C, PMBUS, SPI; scripting for lab automation (Python/LabVIEW).

Responsibilities

Play a key role in new product development, qualification and release to mass production.
Generate reliability plan, die sort and final test plan, characterization plan.
Ensure new product release meets manufacturing and datasheet requirements.
Manage product release schedule and product release plans.
Collaborate with design, packaging and test teams to debug silicon and root cause failures.
Perform ATE to Bench correlation and bench characterization.
Generate temperature characterization, reliability drift plots and yield reports.
Generate die sort, final test and QA test limits; monitor NPI yield.
Oversee wafer starts, build requests and product release documentation.
Support engineering sample requests for customers and internal teams.
Coordinate with sustaining engineering for mass production handover.
Work with marketing to finalize datasheet electrical parameters.
