Job summary

Fanatics is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Promotions Platform team within FBG. You will design, implement and maintain scalable promotional software powering Fanatics' ecosystem.

You will lead and mentor engineers, influence architecture, and drive delivery in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment based in Ireland. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems.
• Able to mentor engineers and communicate complex topics clearly.
• Familiar with Agile software delivery and SCRUM.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team (or teams) that designs, tests, documents, and deploys high-quality software.
• Clarify requirements and assist with estimates and planning.
• Participate in on-call rotation and troubleshoot production issues.
• Mentor engineers and drive best practices in engineering design.
