Due to our ongoing success securing large-scale projects we have a requirement for Senior Piping Designers to join our Piping Department in Dublin. With a team of 80+ professionals, there is great scope to expand your career as a Piping Designer due to the variety of world-class projects.

Responsibilities

1. Act as Lead Designer on small projects or as a Senior Designer on large projects.
2. Potential to be the Piping Design Team Lead as part of a multi-disciplinary project delivery team.
3. Piping 3D modelling.
4. Developing technical descriptions, drawings, complex piping plans and layouts, piping isometrics sketches, and electronic models for equipment in accordance with project requirements, codes, specifications, and procedures.
5. Clash checking for pipe clashes.
6. Collaborate with multi-discipline teams on globally executed projects.
7. Work with project team members, client teams, and other external parties to ensure coordination is aligned.

Qualifications

1. Ideally demonstrable experience of leadership in industrial piping design.
2. 10+ years of piping design experience for chemical, bio-pharma or similar industrial projects.
3. Working knowledge of Cadworx suite would be an asset, but candidates with 3D modelling experience with PDS, PDMS, SmartPlant3D, Plant3D, or other 3D software are welcome to apply.
4. Experience gained on international projects highly desirable.
5. Computer literate with good experience of MS Word and Excel.
6. Preferred Certificate (Level 6) or Diploma/Ordinary Degree (Level 7) in Engineering or Science related discipline.
