Job summary

Zoom seeks a software engineer to design and develop scalable, secure services using PHP and Laravel. You will build modular front-end and back-end systems, maintain real-time data feeds and APIs, and optimize code for performance.

You’ll also participate in design discussions, code reviews, and detailed code analysis to ensure high-quality delivery. As part of the Workvivo team within Zoom, you’ll collaborate with product designers and cross-functional teams to deliver user-centric features.

Qualifications

• Must have strong PHP/Laravel backend experience.
• Proficient with HTML and React fundamentals.
• 5+ years in software development and hosted web apps/SaaS.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and third‑party integrations.
• Familiar with AWS Lambda or Firebase and Redis.
• Proficient in testing tools Jest/PHPUnit/Selenium.
