Job summary

MSD Ireland in Ballydine, Co. Tipperary, is seeking a Development Engineer to lead process development, scale-up, and transfer of solid oral dosage manufacturing processes. You will drive design space studies, validations, and cross-functional collaboration with R&D and IPT teams.

The role requires coordinating new product introductions, maintaining cGMP compliance, and delivering robust, manufacturable processes in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmaceutical process development, manufacturing, and technology transfer.
• Strong understanding of process chemistry and solid dosage forms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present data to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, scale-up, and transfer of new solid oral dosage manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical oversight for clinical and stability batch manufacture and design space studies.
• Lead QRA, investigations, safety assessments, and process improvement initiatives.
