Job summary

Embecta is a global medical device company seeking a Senior Process Engineer - Packaging to lead a skilled team in delivering safe, compliant, and cost-effective packaging solutions in a high-speed production cell in Ireland. You will act as SME for automated packaging equipment, drive process improvements, and ensure robust handover to production.

You will mentor technicians, champion data-driven problem solving, manage maintenance programs, and coordinate with development teams to establish

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering.
• 10+ years process engineering experience with people management.
• Strong data analysis skills and Six Sigma or equivalent structured problem-solving approaches.
• Knowledge of Lean techniques: Standard Work, TPM.
• Familiarity with equipment validation and documentation within a regulated industry (GMP).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to deliver on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost results in packaging.
• Act as SME for automated, high-volume packaging machines and provide production support.
• Drive improvements, troubleshoot, and oversee preventative maintenance programs.
• Lead QN, Customer Complaint and CAPA investigations and change control.
• Train and develop technicians; ensure safety and risk assessment of tasks.
• Coordinate with development teams for new equipment and handover to production.
