Job summary

Honeycomb, in partnership with a leading commercial law firm, is seeking a Senior PA to support two Partners and several Associates within a Corporate team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy, professional environment and to build a long-term career.

The role involves high-level administrative support, including diary management, document production, billing, and business development documentation, with hybrid working from day one.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Legal PA or Legal Secretary supporting senior staff.
  • Experience in a large legal or professional services environment would be highly advantageous.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with document management and billing systems.
  • Experience using digital dictation systems.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload.
  • Ability to re-prioritise tasks effectively when required.
  • A flexible, proactive and positive approach to work.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to act with complete discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Strong ownership and accountability with the willingness to take responsibility for the requirements of the role.
  • A strong team focus with the willingness and flexibility to assist colleagues when required.
  • A genuine eagerness to learn, develop skills and continually improve.

Responsibilities

  • Manage complex diaries, meetings and travel arrangements for Partners.
  • Produce and amend high-quality documents from dictation and drafts.
  • Take ownership of billing processes for allocated Partners.
  • Prepare client meeting documentation including research and biographies.
  • Manage emails, calendars and contacts efficiently.
  • Enter and report on business development data via CRM.
  • Maintain accurate electronic filing and document management.
  • Provide general admin support including printing, posting, scanning.
  • Support the wider PA team and assist colleagues as required.
  • Take ownership of responsibilities and ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Carry out additional administrative duties as required.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Legal PA looking to join a well-established firm and build a long-term career within a busy Corporate team. This role would suit someone currently working within a large legal or professional services firm who is accustomed to supporting senior stakeholders in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

The Role

Working alongside existing PAs, the successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support to Partners, as well as supporting Associates. This is a varied and fast-paced role requiring excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing complex diaries, meetings and travel arrangements.
  • Producing and amending high-quality documentation from digital dictation and handwritten drafts, ensuring documents follow the firm's house style.
  • Taking ownership of billing processes for allocated Partners.
  • Preparing business development documentation for new client meetings, including research, client biographies and company information.
  • Managing emails, calendars and contacts efficiently.
  • Entering and reporting on business development data through the firm's Interaction CRM system.
  • Maintaining accurate filing systems, including electronic filing and document management.
  • Providing general administrative support including printing, posting, photocopying and scanning.
  • Supporting the wider PA team and assisting colleagues when required.
  • Taking ownership of responsibilities and ensuring work is completed accurately and efficiently.
