Job summary

Cpl Healthcare is partnering with a leading not-for-profit in the Northwest Region to recruit a Senior Occupational Therapist. You will work with service users in their homes and communities, conducting assessments, planning care, and delivering interventions to support independence and recovery.

The role emphasises trauma-informed, recovery-oriented practice within Housing First and community-based support.

Qualifications

• Required qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Current CORU registration.
• 3+ years post-qualification clinical experience.
• Experience in mental health services.
• Experience with marginalised backgrounds.
• Recovery-oriented approaches.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive OT assessments.
• Develop and review person-centred care plans.
• Deliver interventions to promote functional recovery.
• Support daily living skills and community integration.
• Build trusting relationships with individuals who may have experienced trauma and social exclusion.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to address service user needs.
• Adapt recovery-focused interventions to individual goals.
• Advocate for service users to promote stability and wellbeing.
