Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Principal OT Cyber Security Engineer in Ireland to lead design, integration and testing of OT security solutions across critical infrastructure. You will guide risk-informed decisions, shape secure architectures, and drive governance with clients and regulators.

You will leverage deep OT/ICS knowledge, engage stakeholders at all levels, and contribute to business development through technical input and proposals.

Qualifications

• Extensive OT cybersecurity experience in CNI or industrial environments.
• In-depth knowledge of OT/ICS tech (SCADA, DCS, PLCs, RTUs, industrial networks, safety systems).
• Familiarity with IEC 62443, NIST CSF, ISO 27000, MITRE ATT&CK, NIS/NIS2.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to communicate risk-informed security.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, integration and security testing of OT cybersecurity solutions.
• Develop OT security assessment methodologies and security requirements for complex environments.
• Implement robust security risk management processes, including accreditation activities with clients and regulators.
• Conduct comprehensive security reviews, audits and assessments of OT systems.
• Provide expert OT cybersecurity governance and advisory to internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to business development with proposals, solution shaping, and technical input to bids.
• Represent Jacobs in client meetings, technical workshops, and industry forums.
