Job summary

Corlann in Galway is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Senior Occupational Therapist to coordinate and deliver OT services to adults with intellectual disabilities within the West Region. The role reports to the Occupational Therapy Manager and works with multidisciplinary teams to support people and families.

The ideal candidate will hold a CORU-recognised OT degree, be registered on the OT Register, possess a full driving licence and have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience in adult

Qualifications

• Occupational therapy qualification recognised by CORU.
• Registered on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by CORU.
• Full clean driving licence and access to a car.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver Occupational Therapy services to adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and families.
• Provide assessments and interventions for adults with intellectual disabilities, including complex needs.
• Engage in CPD and post-graduate education such as seating/postural management, sensory-based approaches, and trauma-informed care.
