Job summary

Currenxie, a fintech company based in Dublin, is seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to join our European team and strengthen payment operations. You will monitor intraday funds processing, perform reconciliations, and support cross-border treasury tasks in a fast-paced environment with a lean, multinational team.

The role requires at least 3 years in payment operations in Europe, knowledge of EU/EEA payment systems, and a detail-oriented, independent work style.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in payment operations or settlement roles in Europe.
• Knowledge of EU/EEA/global payment systems is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with a strong delivery mindset.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor intraday inward funds processing streams.
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Proactive troubleshooting in new and existing markets.
• Clarify client/front office instructions.
• Handover and receipt of operations activities.
• Monitor client beneficiary instructions within the validation engine.
• Support payment processing flows within the payments engine.
• Assist stakeholders with payment inquiries and investigations.
• Manage exceptions for non-standard transactions.

We are currently recruiting for our European headquarters located in Dublin, from which Currenxie is to provide E-Money services across the Extended European Area. The successful candidate will have the exciting opportunity to join the team as we expand our operations across Europe, and contribute to the development of our European presence.

Your role & responsibilities

• Monitoring of Intraday inward funds processing streams
• Performing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
• Proactive trouble shooting in new and existing markets
• Clarification of client / front office instructions
• Handover and receipt of Operations activities within Currenxie group
• Monitoring client beneficiary instructions within our validation engine
• Monitoring and interacting with outward payment processing flows when required within our payments engine
• Supporting stakeholders in responding to Payment enquiries, Requests for Information, and investigations
• Exceptions management for all non-standard transactions
• Assist the trading team with international treasury managementSupport Operations projects, processes, and initiatives

Your skills and experience

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in payment operations or settlement roles in Europe, preferably within fintech, financial services, and/or banking
• Knowledge of EU, EEA, and global payment systems would be a plus
• Detail-oriented with a strong delivery mindset
• Able to independently complete deliverables with minimal supervision
• Comfortable with uncertainties and challenges
• Enjoys working within a multi-jurisdictional and lean team with high flexibility
• Prior knowledge and exposure to finance service industry is required
