Job summary

We seek experienced nurses with at least three years' post‑registration experience in Medical Oncology Inpatient care, capable of managing cancer treatment complications and delivering safe, patient‑centred care. Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ post-registration nursing experience.
• Experience in Medical Oncology Inpatient care is desirable.
• Sound knowledge of cancer care and treatment; ability to recognise and manage complications.
• NMBI Registered General Nurse licence required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to assigned oncology patients.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Monitor patient condition and escalate concerns promptly to the medical/nursing staff.
• Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments according to hospital policies.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges and transfers, supporting patients and families.
• Maintain infection prevention and patient confidentiality standards.
• Promote effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and participate in teaching and supervision.
