Job summary

Medforce is seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Primary Care Team for the East Galway and South Roscommon Network. You will deliver community-based occupational therapy assessments and interventions to adults, supporting independence and quality of life.

The role involves MDT collaboration, clinical governance by the Occupational Therapy Manager, and an immediate start with 24 hours per week. Access to your own transport is essential to reach community settings.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Occupational Therapist to join the Primary Care Team in the East Galway and South Roscommon Network.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior OT to provide a community-based occupational therapy service to adults living in the Galway area, supporting their independence, functional ability and overall quality of life.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT), you will deliver person-centred assessments and interventions tailored to the needs of adults within the community. Clinical governance will be provided by the Occupational Therapy Manager, with operational line management provided by the Network Manager.

This position is available for immediate filling and offers 24 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy assessments and interventions to adults within the primary care setting.

Requirements

• Access to your own transport is essential, as the role involves providing a community-based service.
