Job summary

UPMC Ireland's Limerick Cancer Centre is seeking a Clinical Nurse Manager II for the Medical Oncology unit. This permanent, full-time role leads nursing staff, coordinates service delivery and drives quality care in a dynamic oncology setting.

The CNM2 will oversee staffing, performance KPIs, policy development, lean initiatives, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and excellent outcomes. Experience in oncology management preferred.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate or similar in Oncology.
• Management course completed.
• 4 years Oncology experience with 2 years in management.
• Be registered, or eligible for registration in the live NMBI General Division.
• Experience in service improvement and development.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage activity and resources in the Oncology Day Unit.
• Lead quality care and staff deployment.
• Assess staff competencies and assign patient care tasks.
• Lead policy development and lean projects.
• Maintain clinical and administrative records.
