Job summary

Respond is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead the Older Person’s Day Care Centre in Blackpool, Cork, ensuring a high standard of nursing care and clinical leadership. You will manage admissions and discharges, oversee staff, and coordinate services with the wider health team.

This is a fixed-term (1 year) contract for 39 hours weekly (Mon–Fri). Applicants must be registered with the NMBI and have at least five years in a senior management role; a relevant third-level qualification is desirable.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
• Minimum of five years of experience in a senior management role.
• A relevant third-level qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• To manage the day-to-day running of the Older Person’s Day Care Centre in Blackpool, Cork.
• To maintain a high standard of nursing care and develop clinical leadership.
• To support, facilitate and manage the delivery of excellent nursing care, and maintain professional and ethical standards.
• To manage admissions and discharges to the service.
• To manage staff and develop the service.
