Job Description:

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Qualified Actuary to join a global leader in assurance, tax, transaction and advisory services as a Senior Non-life Manager – Risk Consulting. This position is based in Dublin City Centre. This position would suit a Qualified Actuary with several years post-qualified experience ideally in a non-life /reinsurance or non-life consultancy position. Previous experience in the following is advantageous: IFRS 17, Solvency II, Financial Reporting and Capital and Risk Management.

About the Senior Non-life Manager– Risk Consulting role

Duties for this role include (but are not limited to):

• Delivery and management of actuarial and multidisciplinary projects, both internally and externally.
• Lead client interactions and build market profile.
• Drive the production of client deliverables while assisting and managing junior colleagues.
• Identify client specific needs while positively promoting strategy services and values.

Actuarial Skills required

Our client is looking to find a Qualified Actuary with several years relevant experience in a non-life role. Candidates must ideally have experience of the following:

• Working experience of IFRS 17.
• Excellent technical skills with an awareness of the challenges facing the non-life insurance industry.
• Flexible and pragmatic individual.
