Job summary

Amazon Development Centre Ireland Limited in Dublin seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer in Network Capacity Services to design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions for network capacity planning across AWS's global network.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and drive architectural improvements while participating in on-call rotations to ensure production reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• Experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
• Experience in professional, non-internship software development.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Experience in development in the last 3 years.
