Job summary

SMT Fund Services (Ireland) Limited is a key part of SuMi TRUST Global Asset Services, delivering fund administration and NAV services for hedge funds and other funds. The NAV team reconciles positions, cash and income, ensuring timely, accurate NAVs for clients and third parties on monthly, weekly, or daily cycles.

The role requires at least two years in fund valuation, familiarity with Advent Geneva and NTAS, and strong organization with client-focused service. A 4-day week, Dundalk-based.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years fund industry knowledge in a valuation department, including hedge funds.
• Experience with Advent Geneva and NTAS (Transfer Agency System) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform NAV-related reconciliations for positions, securities, income and fees.
• Process data to the fund accounting system (journal entries, income accruals, settlements).
• Produce and deliver NAVs by required dates to clients and third parties.
• Support colleagues and mentor junior NAV team members.
• Escalate discrepancies identified in the reconciliation process and ensure timely resolution.
• Assist in review of Fund Administrators' work and sign-off of valuations.
• Support weekly control reporting and escalation of issues.
• Contribute to month-end tasks and external reporting for valuations.
