Job summary

Solventum, a leader in innovative health tech, seeks a Senior Machine Learning Engineer in Dublin. You will collaborate with domain experts, data scientists and engineers to design, train and deploy ML models and AI solutions that improve patient outcomes and healthcare delivery.

You will own end-to-end model lifecycles, build scalable infrastructure in cloud and on-premises, and champion data privacy with GDPR/HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in computer science, mathematics, OR related fields or Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of experience.
• Experience creating engineering solutions that support an AI / ML model’s lifecycle including data ingestion, training, evaluation, and deployment
• Familiarity with a cloud provider, preferably AWS
• Proficiency in large-scale data processing technologies, such as Hadoop and Spark
• Hands-on experience with scalable model deployment, e.g., using Docker and Kubernetes
• Ability to provide maintainable and reusable code including Git, unit/integration testing and CI/CD concepts

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements to technical requirements in collaboration with domain experts, data scientists, and stakeholders
• Build automated pipelines for data processing and model training, evaluation and deployment
• Design scalable infrastructure for training and inference in cloud or on-prem environments
• Set up monitoring to counter model degradation proactively
• Ensure GDPR and HIPAA compliance during development and deployment
