Job summary

Alexion Pharma Spain S.L. is seeking a Senior QC Analyst – Microbiology for a 24-month secondment in Athlone, Ireland. The role focuses on technical leadership in microbiology testing, environmental monitoring, validation, and implementation of LIMS within the Microbiology Lab.

The candidate will uphold cGMP/GLP standards, participate in audits, and drive continuous improvement across Quality, Manufacturing and Projects. Shift work applies, with Week 1 and Week 2 schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Microbiology or related field.
• Significant experience in a cGMP quality environment.
• Experience with microbiology methods and sterilization testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise for microbiology testing and environmental monitoring.
• Support validation/qualification of microbiology methods and systems.
• Lead investigations using Root Cause Analysis and implement CAPAs.
• Maintain cGMP/GLP standards and assist in internal/external audits.
