AstraZeneca plc in Athlone is seeking a QC Analyst, Microbiology to provide technical expertise across microbiology testing, environmental monitoring, method validation and new technologies. You will collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing and Projects to maintain high standards and support compliant laboratory operations.

You will lead and support risk assessments, maintain GMP/GLP standards, and contribute to continuous improvement while developing your colleagues and keeping up to date with

Competenze

• Degree in Microbiology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in a cGMP quality environment.
• Experience testing sterile drug products and supporting aseptic filling processes.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements for Microbiology and Sterility in cGMP operations.
• Subject matter expertise in method validation, endotoxin testing and sterility testing.
• Experience in Quality Risk Management.
• Knowledge of LIMS, including setup or implementation in microbiology.

• Provide technical expertise for microbiology testing and environmental monitoring.
• Support validation and qualification of microbiology test methods and systems.
• Lead and contribute to cGMP compliance and regulatory readiness.
• Develop and maintain laboratory testing programmes, SOPs, and validation docs.
