Job summary

AbbVie Inc. in Ireland is recruiting a Senior Micro Analyst to join the QC team on site in Ballytivnan, Sligo on a 12-month contract. You will perform microbiological testing, ensure data integrity, and support regulatory compliance to guarantee product quality and safety.

You will lead validation of methods and transfers, maintain detailed test records, and contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory procedures within a global biopharmaceutical leader.

Qualifications

• 3rd level qualification in relevant Science discipline.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Pharma industry.
• 5 years in a lab-based role.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Must have strong knowledge of HPLC, GC, LCMS, GCMS, Automatic titration, Identification techniques.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and align with Laboratory Documentation and Computerized Systems Data Integrity requirements
• Understand Regulations and business processes required to maintain Laboratory Data Integrity and ensure implemention.
• Carry out environmental and product microbiological tests as required
• Define and update procedures for plant relative to microbiological and environmental testing.
• Lead validation of equipment and test methods for microbiological tests.
• Lead Test method transfer of microbiological methods
• Further develop and streamline microbiological laboratory procedures.
• Maintain and approve up-to-date and detailed records of all tests performed
• Adheres to and supports all EHS & E standards, procedures and policies.
• Lead and support any lab related investigations.
