We are currently recruiting aSenior MICE Sales Managerto join our team at Carton House.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend morning briefing with M&E Team when on site, support M&E Team on Conversion
• Work collaboratively with other sales channels
• Conduct monthly quota of site inspections
• Manage the Sports Market for the hotel
• Understand and actively utilize company marketing initiative/incentives to close business
• Attend networking events and overseas tradeshows and sales missions for the MICE market and where applicable.
• Work with Local DMCs to arrange US Direct Sales Missions.
• Develop and manage catering sales revenue and operation budgets, and provide forecasting reports.
• Generate new leads from Creation reports and Lost Business Reports.
• Manages the annual performance management process, in line with the Leadership Capability Framework

The successful candidate will have:

• Hospitality Management/BSC
• Have a real understanding of hotel operations
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
• Good presentation and influencing skills
• The ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask many projects/ initiatives at once and adhere to tight timelines.
• Key focus is the US market - assist in larger pieces of business from ROW on occasion and when needed
• A structured and organized approach to work planning
