Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd is seeking a Senior Building Services Manager to lead MEP delivery on large projects across Ireland and Europe. The role combines technical expertise with leadership to ensure fully integrated, tested and commissioned systems, aligned with design, safety, and sustainability standards.

You will guide teams through pre-construction to handover, manage tendering and procurement of MEP packages, and drive continuous improvement while fostering strong client and supply chain

Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale MEP projects.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality outcomes.
• Technical competence across estimating, pre-construction, installation, commissioning and handover.
• Commercial and contractual awareness in MEP project management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction in applying Building Services management systems.
• Support delivery of Building Services strategy across safety, quality, sustainability, people and projects.
• Oversee MEP project delivery from pre-construction through commissioning and handover.
• Guide tendering, procurement and award of MEP packages.
• Ensure safe management of live energy systems and energy efficiency considerations.
• Lead planning, coordination and integration of MEP works into the project programme.
• Engage with utility providers and stakeholders to meet interface requirements.
• Approve coordinated drawings and builder’s work requirements.
• Implement equipment and plant tracking through approvals, procurement and testing.
• Identify and mitigate programme, contractual and commercial risks.
• Drive quality management, inspections, snagging and progressive sign-off.
• Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.
